Is there a way to specify HTML color codes in FM (e.g., #FF)?

If you have a tool like the Pantone Web chart that gives you the RGB
and CYMK equivalents of the web colors, all you (should) have to do is
define them in Frame's color definitions. YMMV depending on how you
output the Frame file, whether your monitor and printer are
calibrated, etc., but in theory

Web colors specifications are RGB already, so the only translation that needs
to be made is a simple mathem

Because Frame uses a CMYK model, rather than the web's and monitor's
RBG scheme, I've gotten better results using the Pantone tool's CMYK
recommendations than just pumping in the hex RGB conversion numbers.
But again, it's not anywhere close to an exact or precise science,

FF = 255 not 100, and 100 in hex is 64

It's pretty easy, but you use Hypertext markers, not cross-refs.
Use the Hypertext menu (either a right click in text, or Special >
Hypertext )
First, set up the destination by inserting a Hypertext marker in your
text with the command to create a "Specify Named Destination."
Then at each te

Anyhow, when I add jpgs to my Framemaker file (FM 8.0, Windows XP),
Framemaker slows way down when I scroll over the page with the jpg.
The jpgs are 300 dpi, which they need to be for good print

Fred's on top of the graphic issues. Bottom line is JPG is the way
wrong format and is adding some bloat.
However, its not clear from the OP message whether you're copying the
graphic file in, or importing by reference.
Importing by refrence is the preferred way to do it. Copying is not
the way t
