[Frameworks] EIKI NT 16mm Projector issues
I just purchased and EIKI NT 16mm projector and I found that it runs even when in the stop position. The only way to stop it is to unplug the thing so I was wondering if anyone had any idea what the issue was and how I could fix it. I opened it up but I dont know how to get to the switch. [Frameworks] Super 8 camera BROKE!!!!!
Hey ive been shooting a lot film with my canon super 8 camera and it stopped working recently and i lost a bunch of good footage because of it. It appears to run fine but when I put film in, it just rips the sprocket holes and doesnt advance the film at all. The wheel inside turns fine and the tooth that grabs the sprockethole seems to move fine when theres no film inside. Anyway to get to the point i need to fix this thing or borrow someones camera before this weekend cause i need to get this film out. Anyone in the NYC area got anything thatll help? Hold the cartridge with the pressure plate (film) facing you and the label side to your left (label text should be right side up), and try sliding a few frames down. There should be only a little bit of resistance - basically just enough to keep the film stationary when its not being pulled by the claw. [Frameworks] super 8 viewer telecine??
Hey I was thinkin about buying a super 8 viewer and using a DSLR to take a photo of each frame. Any suggestions on viewers with the sharpest and brightest image quality? [Frameworks] Super 8 capture NYC
Anyone in the NYC or long island area have a setup I could use to capture my super 8 film like an optical printer with a dslr or somethin? I dont have a good video camera so im kinda stuck on the shooting the projection idea. [Frameworks] Super 8 prices!!!! WTF
Anyone know of a lab that does processing and telecine for relatively cheap cus the prices that im seein at all the major film labs are out of control. I just have 12 rolls of super 8 that I wanna see and edit and I cant even afford to send em out. What should I do? I cant be spending 100s of dollars on frickin super 8. Jesus christ!
