FreeBSD, and PCMCIA NE2K NIC

2003-02-04 Thread Michael Graffam
Hello all, I am trying to do a net install of FreeBSD onto an old laptop (no cdrom). I have an NE2K compatible PCMCIA NIC which Linux can successfully use, but which no *BSD can. I figure the problem is essentially one of recognizing this particular card as NE2K compatible since other NE2K PCMCI

PCMCIA NIC for use w/ FreeBSD?

2003-02-04 Thread Michael Graffam

TeXmacs port

2003-02-06 Thread Michael Graffam
Who is maintaining the GNU TeXmacs port to FreeBSD? The port is somewhat out-of-date: 1.0.1 is the current stable release, the FreeBSD port is 1.0.0. I tried building TeXmacs from the source, but it has some problems. I'm going to work on it over the weekend and see if I can get it working. I'll
