I guess next step is embedding a Freeciv starter to be able to choose
language, tilesets and such (just as Nathan did with his very nice
X11/GTK port).

Another good piece of news is that this packages runs flawlessly (it
seems) on my 10.3.9 iBook! You might consider changing the wording in
the installer where it says that 'Tiger' is required. :)

It's become apparent that 2.1.0 isn't likely to be ready soon.
Enough crashers have been found and fixed that 2.0.10 should be
released instead

Nope, only SDL has anything like "of Freeciv", all the rest are
"for Freeciv"

On second thought, anybody that's using CVS/SVN versions already knows

In the gtk2 client, "Add to city" is shown when you can build cities
and "build city" when you can add the settler to a city.. this is both
in 2.1 branch and trunk.

Unfortunately, the file is 'stuck' with the wrong permissions, so I
can't download it. Can someone with root access to the ftp please fix
it? This is happening a lot recently with our ftp; is this a
configuration issue or something else?
