This seems to be connected to the 'known' state of the tiles. If you enter
the edit mode, add some explorer in the known territorium of the Danish and
go into the unknown area they will be marked as Danish.

Would it be possible to add a layer similar to the Show workers of a city
('Shift-Alt-Right click'). This overlay would easily indicate the territorium
of a nation. Usefull to keep track

turns I aitoggled the Saxons, turned on a timeout, and became global

Well I feel silly! That Papuan border colour is really hard to see.
Perhaps the red city border could be replaced with something else (instead of
dissappearing) - maybe highlight the border of the country you are over - make
it red/blinking?
