Hi,   I played a little bit more with freedos 1.2 and kolibri os and now I got kolibri os to boot with syslinux, but freedos is no longer booting? What I did was install the syslinux boot package and installed it with the command c:\fdos\bin\syslinux -d /fdos/bin c: and edit out the second lable

I have made a small video to show my issue with freedos 1.2 and syslinux. After installing it freedos does not boot because it is looking for kernel.sys in c:\fdos\bin\ were there is no such file. Also it seems to be only looking for files in c:\ and kernl386.sys renamed and copied to c:\ is not

That is what I found so far. FDOS\BIN\fdnet.bat I tried to comment out the dhcp.exe, but it still booted up and discovered the dhcp server and changed back the config file with the dhcp settings. Than I tried to leave the dhcp.exe in and edited the config files (all I found) to a fixed ip adres
