I've been able to create a vm to host freedos and to get it loaded and
running.
So far, so good.
The reason I'm interested in running freedos is that I have a couple of
old dos apps I want to run:
Framework - from Aston-Tate

Well, I myself was looking for one, I got tired of using a floppy for
doing this, so I REALLY appreciate it ;-)

What I search is a ready-to-go VMware Image of FreeDOS 1.0 and not an option to mount an image. Additionally in a running windows you can't clone the image with backup software like True Image or Ghost because the "drive administration" (I don't know how it is named in an english XP) doesn't detect
