You have to install AppleWorks 6 in Classic if it's an original
AppleWorks disc prior to the 6.2 version, but then you use the 6.2.x
upgrader to Carbonize the app.

Hey, if any of you working in Classic don't want to feel like you're
using an OS 9 app, email me. I have a package made by an Apple UI guy
in his spare time during May of 2000; consists of an Appearance Theme
and two CPs. It's now impossible to find b/c Apple caught wind of what
he did
I find this thread very interesting, as I've had the original Apple
Studio Display since 1998 and an Anniv. Mac since 1999, both from
MacMall, for $1999 and $1299...both new and sealed.
Guess what? they're both still in perfect shape to this day. The ASD

I have too many thoughts on this subject to list right now, but I have
a feeling that Apple actually is behind this in a way...I will post
more later, but who else has noticed that since they've hit the scene,

Find a cheap Dell system on eBay that's from 01-02 for $50, take the
80 or so gig out of there, put it in your comp. (format it using the
zero out data option and make sure it says SMART Status: Verified),
