Because if I don't need to add remote avatars to SVN, I have to set 'svn:ignore' to '*' (or I see a lots of '?') and add local avatars explicitly. But svn don't show me new local avatars because 'svn:ignore' and I have to always remember to svn add new local avatars just after assign it. -- DSS5-RIPE DSS-RIPN 2:550/[EMAIL PROTECTED] 2:550/[EMAIL PROTECTED] xmpp:[EMAIL PROTECTED] mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] http://neva.vlink.ru/~dsh/ ___ Gajim-devel mailing list Gajim-devel@gajim.org https://lists.gajim.org/cgi-bin/listinfo/gajim-devel

This is a typical use for XEP-0049 (Private XML Storage). If you intend to use that I could help writing a XEP, so it will be cross-client eventually. On the other hand XEP-0049 might be somewhat not efficient because records are identified by their element names and namespaces. We would need the JID as the primary key if we don't want to get/set all avatars at once. [Gajim-devel] local avatars
Hi! I've found a nice feature in Gajim from the SVN. It's local avatars. And I've thought may be it better to save local avatars to another directory not together with buddies avatars. In this case it'll be easy to synchronize local avatars between several hosts (in my situation between home and office computers). What do you think about it, guys? But I think that even better to save local avatars on the server, like Comment right now saved. Don't known if it possible. Thanks! -- DSS5-RIPE DSS-RIPN 2:550/[EMAIL PROTECTED] 2:550/[EMAIL PROTECTED] xmpp:[EMAIL PROTECTED] mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] http://neva.vlink.ru/~dsh/ ___ Gajim-devel mailing list Gajim-devel@gajim.org https://lists.gajim.org/cgi-bin/listinfo/gajim-devel
