I think what you want is Collapse sequences in the Fasta manipulation tab.

Hi,
I'm trying to get the HGV tools set up on our local instance, and I've hit a
stumbling block. I can't find where to get a copy of the data files that FunDO
uses. They must exist because the tool seems to work fine on the main PSU
instance, but after scouring the project's web page and
Hi guys,
Another related question. So if I need a large data set for my
program to run on, should that also be stored in GalaxyData? What is
the best way to get the data on there?
I saw something about FTP but it seemed kind of confusing. Also I
chose the data cluster option so I don't think
Yes, galaxyData is the only persistent volume you have in your data only
cluster, so everything should go there. SCP should work for getting data
there, unless the file is already hosted somewhere in which case wget is
probably a better choice.
And yes, FTP is configured specifically for
Ok, yeah, SCP does make sense. Thanks.

Hey guys,
I clicked the the sharing icon and chose public. I left my screen and came
back five minutes later and the share dialog was gone. I guess it
finished? I don't have a share string. Where would I get that?
Thanks again for all the help. I'll get the hang of this soon.

Hi guys,
I've asked some questions about sharing an instance but it doesn't

Hello Sheena,
Our apologies, Cufflinks was updated to version 1.3.0 this week and we
did a poor job of giving notice to our community.
You can expect to see a tweet and a news item today and an updated wiki
by the end of the week.
Again, we are very sorry that you had to discover this on
Hi Greg,
Galaxy makes the tools more accessible by allowing web access to those
tools, it automatically handles job submission and management, as well as
allows simpler integration with other tools to form complex analyses.

Hi guys,
Sorry if you get this twice (I got an email back after sending it that
said it was in moderation because it was too big. So I cut out the

Hi Greg,
Please see below.
Two follow up questions:
1. Can I terminate my main instance, then start a new Cloudman
instance later and enter this share string to get back to where I was?
That would save some money vs stopping my main instance.
You should always terminate a cluster. Stopping
Hi,
Still experimenting with Galaxy and Cloudman on AWS EC2.
The latest galaxy AMI is described
as 861460482541/galaxy-cloudman-2011-03-22.
How up to date is that Galaxy rev ?
Should I use hg to update it before running, or saving as a customised
Cloud AMI ?
Thanks.
