Though I stil have enough vision to play original packman (symple high contrast graphics), I actually prefer the audio version as a game. You have the added task of navigating the maze and locating the dots, and it's much more enjoyable suddenly turning a corner and being faced with a ghost

Well that's true Tom, but what I was getting at in my post is the difference in play mechanics betwene visual and audio packman. The standard packman is a game simply of fast reflexes where (as you said), you have to run like the clappers to avoid ghosts and make quick decisions. The audio

Hi Nicol, Actually, Packman was originally released in 1982 for the Atari 2600 console. It did not have a dot detector, because it wasn't needed. A sighted person could see the entire maze on screen and could see where all of the dots were. All a person had to do is move his little Packman
