Try putting jaws to sleep. Just bring up the game. Do a insert + 6,
and when it comes up say yes. Then do a alt + s, arrow up to
advanced, check the box and hit ok. Now save the changes and close.
You will have your keys back and jaws will still work if needed.

Hi Corry,
Oh, I see. Well, one thing I am still deciding upon is weather or not to
leave sound effects and voice files external from the Java package
containing the game. From a developer standpoint it is better that all
images, sound effects, etc are packed in the jar file for maximum
I must admit, i'd be interested in this one as well, if it was possible,
sinse that improved soundpack with the bells which I believe sky used in his
review of the game sounded really good, and I like the idea of a trek

As far as I know, there was only 1 sound pack, created by Thomas Ward. I
think that Phil did some work on a different opening theme song to the game,
which I would like to get back, as I lost it when a hard drive bit the

I'm using 4.0. I don't know how to mute jaws -- everything I try doesn't

Hmmm, if by tos you mean the original series, I very much got the idea that
stfc was deffinately next gen.
It includes many things from the next gen era, the cardassians, Ds9, the

dead on for that.

I have proper tos sfx for some of the stuff.

they do in t2k, also the voices for the computers in t2k are all wrong, they
are not robotic enough.

Well, as I said, I'm not half as familiar with tos myself, and if indeed
Trek 2000 has the wrong sfx, feel free to put together a sound pack for
it, and maybe tom would host it.
As I said though, sinse stfc is the tng ds9 era, not tos, I'm fairly certain
the effects there are correct.
