Have you reported this to

I would go to

Then to support or to contact and report this error message.
When you report the error, make sure you also let them know what your
operation system is if it is win 7 and if it is 32 or 64 bit as well.

Please give them as much info as you can.
It's been a long long time since I've played that exciting game.
You also might want to try running it as adminstrator as well.
Hope this info helps you out.

Re: [Audyssey] pipe2 stats and development on swish

2011-07-15 Thread Thomas Ward
Hi Jack,

I am afraid you are behind the times. Castle Quest and the Void were
both canceled a long time ago by BSC Games, and to my knowledge no
betas were ever released publicly or privately. As for the Swish game
who knows?

My guess is Swish is either canceled or put on hold. Justin works full
time now, actually over time, and I've heard his work load is pretty
substantial. As a result he hasn't had much time to write games to
speak of.

Hi Nicol,
Of course there is. 2.66 GHZ is equal to 2,660 MHZ where 2.6 GHZ is
equal to 2,600 MHZ. In other words 2.66 GHZ is 60 MHZ faster than 2.6 GHZ.

Re: [Audyssey] pipe2 blast chamber and sarah question

2009-12-06 Thread Jacob Kruger
Well, whereas it might just be the system abbreviating a value, the
difference between 2.6 and 2.66 would literally be something around 0.06GHz,
which I suppose works out to something like 61.44KHz if you multiply 0.06 by
1024, etc., but no it wouldn't make a really noticeable difference in terms
of actual performance nowadays.

Also, sometimes things like this might have to do with the internal
architecture since, for example, while my work laptop officially has
something like 4Gb of physically installed memory/ram, the installation of
windows XP, 32 bit had on it, only saw 2.5Gb memory as such.

Generally 266MHz is 266 megahertz, where 2.6 would generally be GHz -
gigahertz, where a giga is 1024 times a mega.

Old school computer science was based on something like:
1 bit times 8 = 1 byte, times 1024 = 1 kilobyte, times 1024 = 1 megabyte

times 1024 = 1 gigabyte, times 1024 = 1 terabyte, etc. etc.

Kilo is times 1000 in the real world, and times 1024 in computers, a
mega is
the equivalent of a million, but equals 1024 times 1024 in computers
etc.
etc.

Also remember that the difference between 1Kb and 1KB is the difference
between a kilobit and a kilobyte, and the same applies to MB and Mb
)check
case sensitivity), but those differences are mostly applied to either
speeds, or audio track bitrates/quality.

Hi Nicol and all.

The reason that we don't give cpu specs for pipe 2 or any of our other
games
is that these games are not real resource hogs, any semi-decent system
will
run them. I've run all of the bsc games on a pentium II system with 256
megs of ram and a 350MHZ processor and they run fine provided you have a
decent sound card. If you have a crummy sound card with poor buffering
then
you may have some slight sluggishness on a slow system like this. Other
than that you don't need to worry about it all that much. I am only
talking
about BSC games here, your results will vary with other games.

Hope this helps.

I never said your suggestions were stupid or childish. I just said that
Justin probably wasn't going to update. I also gave you my honest opinion,
which was that emails directed at individuals should be emailed to the
individual in question, rather than emailing a whole mailing list only to
say that a specific part of an email is for Justin only. If I sounded rude
it was by no means intentional.

Nicol,
Not trying to be rude or anything, but you've told us about your pipe 2
issues in the past, and noone else is experiencing this problem. I get
enemies in those levels most of the time. it's just random. I also seriously
doubt pipe 2 will have any patches in the future, even if there's a problem.

I don't know if I can agree with that. It's no knock against bsc, but pipe
2 doesn't have all that much replay value. I own the game, and I played it
a few times, beat it, got on the boards, and there wasn't much else to do.
To me, the game with the best replay value right now is sryth. Content is
being added on a regular basis, and it keeps people coming back. There are
no other games out there that are like this. I know sryth isn't necisarily
an accessible game, but. We all seem to play it so I'm counting it.
Of all the accessible games I own, there aren't any that I really want to
play again after I beat. I'm hoping that the release of judgment day gives
the replay value of other stuff a run for it's money. In judgment day there
will be a lot of unlockable minigames and other content which you will have
to play the game multiple times to earn. Pipe 2 or as a matter of fact any
other game has this as far as I can tell.
