I have installed the latest gentoo linux distribution and I don't know
what I am missing in my installation, specially the last gentoo
installation worked for me fine.
At booting I recive the error message:
Block device /dev/sda5 is not a valid root device.
Hard disk is a SATA one,
(/home/tamer/fritz/src/fwlanusb.o) is not supported
How am I able to solve this?! I looked in the kernel configuration where
the setting elf32 bit support for non 64 bit libraries is enabled.
For any advise, I would thank you kindly.

you were entirely right, the problem were the input drivers.
There three packages I remerged:
xf86-input-mouse
xf86-input-keyboard
xf86-input-evdev
and the problem was gone.

I solved the problem. There's a workaround! I had to merge at first
cairo and then pango. This is what gentoo didn't make, the hell I know
why.

When I merge large or big packages like firefox, thunderbird or
chromium. The system hangsup with kernel panick and displays on the

well. I got there bluescreen after a while.
I made a memory test, and let it run over 50% of over all tests, and no
error displayed (perhaps I let it go more then hours).

If the MAC Mini has a UEFI Bios, then the whole problem we have talked
about was for nothing.
That is only related to 32 Bit Versions of Windows.
x64 Windows 7 Version comes with a UEFI Bootloader and an installer,
that can be used.

Always I get ACCESS VIOLATION. I didn't make the merge as user (with
sudo), I am doing it as root from a shell.
Not even a shell opened in gnome. Just in a plain terminal session.

I had to comment out at make.conf 2 lines (last line wasn't enough):
PYTHON_TARGETS and PYTHON_SINGLE_TARGET as well.
