Thanks Justin, I've just made those changes. Also now have the zip

it all still works :)

Yeah the changes are pretty straight forward. Essentially instead of
uplodaing the .zip files into the home directory on the web server, put them
in a directory called "latest" or "stable". And adjust the update script
accordingly. This would prevent any conflicts with simultaneous uploads
which I
Yeah I am wondering if this documentation is even worth keeping... that
tutorial is quite out of date now and it's not like it is a common task. And
when people do generate bindings it seems that going with emf is the norm.

More importantly hudson is building it correctly and the snapshot is available:

Okay Justin docs for gt-xml are done; complete with all your pictures (thanks
for attaching svg files to the wiki pages; it was so nice not to redraw stuff).

The tutorial was truly epic.

Okay that went smoothly; thanks to everyone who review the doc changes.
I sent an email to geoserver-devel and udig-devel to provide advanced notice;
hopefully things will be smooth on that end.
Does Geomajas have a build tracking geotools trunk? (and if not why not :-D ).

Hi Justin:
The xml docs are up on the website now; I have going through your binding
tutorial and having a hard time updating it to use any version of jaxb to
generate beans. In my research I also note that they link to
http://java.net/projects/ogc/ as a worst case scenario; I was not aware som
Hi Jody, Andrea,
If I read you posts correctly there will hardly ever be a release
under the new numbering scheme with a non-zero suffix. Next release is
8.0.0, then we make the usual additions extensions etc and go to
8.1.0...
In that case why bother having three parts to the version string at

We are in complete agreement; indeed I only expected Justin to tag and deploy
to maven.
And yes I took your last email as a +1; and pushed the change out already.
