Don't you tell me to stop whining. I was only trying to help as to why
the word 'porridge' did't produce a result. We have now rationalised
as to why. No need to be so bl**dy rude. CJB

Thanks for the reply, I see why it makes sense that I cannot pick it
up by keyword now, but as my nightly batch job would have been
searching for porridge ever since the remake series was available over
a year ago, it still is puzzling why the series was not picked up a
few weeks ago when
from the schedules.

Just tried a search for "porridge" with the web-based PVR and also
with the commandine version. Nothing. Also "silent witness" produces
nothing. Boxed sets - what boxed sets? CJB

Hi Paul,
Thanks for the reply, I did know about the --pid-recursive option and
that was how I was intending to record it tonight, but I am still
puzzled why the keyword porridge doesn't work.
The reason being that years ago I automated my get_iplayer downloading
with a batch file running each

You can use the programme PID (b006m9kn) and download all of the
individual programmes (all 21) with one command:
get_iplayer --pid b006m9kn --pid-recursive
