(or delete) /home/yourusername/.gimp-2.6/sessionrc.
Restart Gimp.
Had similar problems and this solved it.
Why it happens I don't know.
I'm on Gentoo Linux.

It's called by gimp to run .scm (tinyscheme) scripts.
I d/led gimpfx-foundry-2.6.1.zip and unpacked them,couldn't find the script you
mention however.
I am willing to check on the script if you can supply the correct URL.

I noticed both DFP1 and CRT0 in the log.
I assume you have a flat panel display,not a crt.
Other than that I don't see anything wrong.
Another logfile that may contain info is /home/yourusername/.xsession.errors.

Right click on the layer.
The top of the dropdown menu has Layer Attributes.
Click that and you can change the name.

it uses an obsolete version of the
plug-in protocol.
Where can I find info about this whole protocol thing?
I also get error messages from scripts which indicated that regular expressions
in script-fu have changed.

I want to buy a Wacom tablet for use in Gimp.
I browsed the web and noticed they come in different sizes.
Is size important and why?
Also some come with touch is it of any use in Gimp?

the only useful looking link there about tutorials took me to page with lots of
