Something like this will give you at least a file dialog, probably not
exacly what you want, but better than nothing:

getc, etc.).
I thought http://people.delphi.com/gjc/siod.html would be what I am
searching for, but a lot of functions are missing in script-fu
(getenv, opendir, etc.).

Now you can start Gimp and load 'image.list' with
"/Script-fu/Misc/Load Sequenze"
You should get now an new image, containing all the mentioned images
as layers.
