Thanks all for your suggestions!
I created a comparison of methods [1] which were mentioned. But
unfortunately, the results are still very different (at least from my point
of view). What do you think about it? What approach should be chosen?

Hello,
I am unable to figure out why a certain processing algorithm
(v.net.steiner) works fine in QGIS2, but not in QGIS3. I am using the same
line and point layer with the same cost column. The input data as well as
the cost column are the only parameters that I define, the others remain

I sent you some time ago a video how to view 3D rasters using isosurfaces
or slices:

If you haven't added any isosurface or slice, you won't see anything beside
the 3D box.
Also, I recommend setting higher z-exaggeration.

Markus,
I've not had an issue with creating a location, only importing the data.
About valid values only along the edges, that's a differen

that worked! thank you. i can see the data using 3D view, in data tab,
select 3d raster at bottom (scroll down), select 3d raster, draw: slices,
shading flat, resolution 1, select wire box.
then i can add slices. I havent mastered the system yet but i think i am
on the right track now. thank you
I have created some polygons for 4 different classes by digitization. The
current names they are having as 0. which I want to edit/rename as
