Nah, they've done sell-offs like this in the past. You might find a bargain but
a lot of stuff is in shocking disrepair and has been out on fancy dress hire
for years, the company's main focus over recent years,

I have to disagree with this part of your statementI'm smaller at the

I feel badly that the people at the HC are being ripped. They have a limited
budget, it is difficult to get permission to film in some of the real sites
and many times their actors are the reinactors that do a period-- unpaid,
but not stars or people who have anything to say about scripts,
These remind me of a pair of pants my mother made for me years ago for a
Christmas party. They were yellow silk with a blue print of giraffes and
such. I looked on the Patterns from the Past site and found two possibilities
for the one she used.
Both are from 1972 -

Hi all, can anyone give me some hints on fulling a small bit of wool?
I'm starting with a piece about 11 inch square, it's light weight as

I was hoping to be able to do this by hand, but I'm not sure I'm doing
it right. I put it in hot water (dishwashing hot) with
Sounds like the wool is not going to full. Tropical weight often is that way,
while flannel is more likely to full in my experience.
Sorry,

Your description sounds like you know what you are doing, and the
wool should have fulled if it was going to. So it may just be made
from a wool that doesn't full well (whether it's been treated with
something, or is just worsted-spun, or is a particularly unfullable
variety of wool).
