I've finally had a chance to play the Death Aboard custom campaign. It's an excellent offering, but ran into a few issues regarding the 6.0 and the 6.1 releases (possibly other versions may have had the same issue described below).

It's no firewall or anything, everything is off. It's not loss of connection I know that for sure, it has in the same place every single time. If I run the HldsUpdateTool again right afterwards, it say HLDS installation is up to date? But can I be certain that everything is installed?

Hello, I start my gameservers in Windows 2003/2008 with the command line option -nocrashdialog which should disable all crash dialogs. But I have still some crashes in Team Fortress 2 which show that dialog. The bad thing is, I have to click ok first before my restart script is able to restart

Unfortunately those engine errors have to be closed by an automated process. You can either use a program like ServerDoc, FireDaemon, or ServerChecker to make sure these are closed properly and run your game servers. I've had good luck with ServerDoc and FireDaemon. -- Cc2iscooL Head Admin/Owner

I have no problem getting on my L4D server. When I know I'll be playing, I change the sv_steamgroup_exclusive cvar to 1 and either kick the people playing or wait until they are done, then it'll only allow people in my Steamgroup to play unless we make it a public server via the lobby. -

You could always have sv_steamgroup_exclusive cvar set to 1 all the time. That's what we do with our private server. We start a lobby, execute a config that lets us connect to our private server and if we don't get enough clan members, we change it to public and join the server. We can get on
