Fellow IBM-MAINiacs, I submitted a SHARE requirement a long time ago for LE to generate the STORAGE and OPTIONS reports when an LE program abends.  In the event of storage abends like 878, 80A, etc, the STORAGE report should still be produced by LE, since the report itself could be invaluable

Are you getting Server Error 500's in ServiceLink?

OA49446 changed RACF behavior for ALIAS, PATH, and AIX

Paging subsystems in the era of bigass memory

Do not FTP DFDSS dump files without tersing them first

To those who have advocated sending DFDSS dumps in FTP with block mode and EBCDIC, it works great, except when it doesn't. Got an I/O error today during a restore. DFDSS level 2 said to terse it first, and viola! It worked. So I'm done with block mode FTP for DFDSS dump files. Keep using
