Yesterday evening SMTP delivery stopped due to a recursive mail to a list (there was an alias with 25 names in the addresses). The SMTP task hung up. Normally the next queue run or the next delivery start another SMTP process and things will go on. Yesterday this did not happen, mails are not

Very solid now, but what's really important is...they FINALLY have SSL working. FWIW, the most important two things that make web messaging work under heavy load: 1 Separate mailboxes from spool on different physical raid channels. 2 Keep the mailboxes and spool directories defragged.
