Today I recorded the band from 1250 to 1534. I'd planned to record
longer but my hard drive ran out of space. As luck would have it, a
high band enhancement started just after 1525, so I was only able to
catch the first few minute of the fun. Things were quite mediocre up
until that point,
I briefly checked the SDR files when I got up earlier this morning and
found unimpressive carriers on 774 972 and 1566, with little if any
audio. There was no need to check further. It was definitely a good
morning to sleep in.

Today was not as bad as yesterday, but not by much. A handful of
stations produced something resembling audio.

Today I had fair-poor audio from HLAZ-1566 at times 1205-1240, and brief
audio on 972 at about 1320.
That was about it for today.

This was a very interesting morning for TPs. Until about 1515, the
Asian signals were deader than a flat possum on the interstate. Then the
upper part of the dial came to life in a big way, with carriers on most
of the 9 kHz channels above 1200 kHz, and audio on many of them. Below
1200,
TP DX today was a mixed bag. There were actually some readable signals
at the low end of the dial, even if they were just high powered NHK
stations. The high band was rather quiet today, especially when it was
compared to yesterday's sunrise excitement. There was no enhancement

A so-so morning for TPs. There were a couple of low banders audible
around 1300, plus a mild enhancement on the high end at about 1530.

TP conditions on Saturday were similar to Friday's, so I didn't put
together a report. Mostly the same stations at about the same strength.
Today was definitely much worse. HLAZ-1566 and Taiwan-1557 struggled.
There were a few other carriers on the expected channels, but little if

You didn't miss much Nick. My SDR recording showed mediocre audio on
1566 and a few bits of mumbling on 747. There may have been audio
elsewhere, but I lost interest after checking those two frequencies.

I can't say I had nearly the fun Gary had today. Overall, I would call
it a mediocre morning here, but it was quite a bit better than the past
few sessions. There were several frequencies with interesting
carriers, such as 1179 1188 1395 1404 1431 and 1449, but they never

My recordings today were similar to Nick's. The peak reception for me
was at 1320-1330 today, with unimpressive audio on 774 972 and 1566.
Otherwise, not much of anything except for weak carriers on 594 747 and
a handful of other frequencies. The locals were at normal strength.

It was kind of a weird morning for TPs today. Most of the action was at
the low end of the dial at about 1330, then most of the DX
disappeared. The upper end of the dial didn't show any activity until
just before 1600 when VOA-1575 showed reasonably OK audio and HLAZ-1566
barely rose above
