Absolutely nothing on the west coast based on the NHP fish barrel... Which

Definitely one of the better TA evenings in the west this year, if not the
best evening. Patrick Martin got into a bit of TA listening in the past,
so wonder if he's at the dials! 73,Walt

For the last 15 minutes have been receiving some weak audio on 675 kHz.
Around 0415 utc with music. From Nigel report looks like it might be Holland?
Hoping for a nice fade up on this signal.

Hi Dennis,
I'm happy you received some audio on 675 kHz tonight. Back during one of
the best October TA openings I did receive some brief audio (religious music)
on 675 KHz from Radio Maria in Holland, but it certainly wasn't one of the
stronger TA's. From what I understand, Radio Maria is
Walt & Nigel,
Thanks for the frequency listing of the stations your hearing tonight.
It's very helpful to me. Did get a little audio on 675 a few minutes ago,
but to weak to ID.
Gary, 1134 Croatia is usually the first station heard with audio during
TA conditions. Stopped on the channel and
on AK on 750 and in Dec I don't have to stay up too late for Japan.

Same here Walt, no audio so far on 1575 this season. Carrier, but no
audio. Glad I QSL'd it last year.

Yes, 1161 is gone, but it was amazing soon after 0100.
No luck with the 855 mystery here. It's only Spain I've been getting,
and not a lot of that. I seem to be hearing different stuff than the
guys out west tonight.
I was amazed to hear some TA action on the even frequencies. Somone on

Re: 1161I think guys in the east have been reporting Iran. Egypt has a
station there also, which could be possible but reportadely beams southward
towards Cairo. If Iran, it is almost 0300 and one would expect it to be
faded by now while Egypt would still be in and for a good hour or so. I
Further scanning revealed carriers on 1107, 1206(bits of audio), 891 (a
surprise just 9 kHz from my strongest local), 837, & 693, plus presumed
Tahiti-738. 1134 had decent audio at times, 1215 & 1377 had traces.
This at 2115-2122 PDT.

I did a quick bandscan just now (2100 LT) and had carriers on 855 864
909 1017 1134 1215 1377 and 1422. Most were weak except for 1215 &
1422, which had traces of audio. And, for whatever reason, KRKO-1380
had IBOC turned off.

For some reason Spain is doing particularly well on 738 tonight (I
suppose I should say this afternoon), the most consistent channel of
audio thus far. Spain also noted on 855 and 999, France on 1206, 945
and 1467, where TWR had a pretty good signal as they signed off at
