xawtv only works with uncompressed video streams, not for the pvrX50 series of cards.. the vbi for pvr150 will have to be supplied to the encoder chip by the cx25843 (video decoder), which isn't really in the domain of the ivtv project. I think gerd wrote that one. If we're sure that the 25843

Matt - You have a PVR-150 MCE (I have one too). If you load the cx25840 module from the 0.3.2a driver you will be able to see video with tuner=47 (with a 2.6.10 kernel module) or tuner=43 (with the 0.3.2b tuner.ko -- it doesn't have the tuner type 47 definition but tuner type 43 is identical).
