I read about the Switch program on here yesterday and am wondering how it compares to Gold Wave for converting music type formats? I am in need of a program to convert many different type music extensions to MP3. Which is the most JAWS friendly and which works the best and/or is easiest to use?

Just to cover the obvious - make sure that Jaws screen echo is set to read highlighted. You can toggle through these settings by pressing insert + S. The options are none, all and highlighted. If your screen echo is set to none, the menus will not be read. Other things to try Set verbosity to

Well one work around is to save your documents as RTF documents and have a separate configuration file for WordPad. You could then use the Classic scheme with font attributes announced in Speech and Sound Manager and set punctuation to all. I get rid of my initial caps problem by letting Word
