Hi Dave, Thank you so much for the hint about how to identify the USB 3.0 port. I had not noticed that before, but sure as heck, I could easily tell them apart based upon your description. The 3.0 port will come in handy for my external backup hard drive, which I know is 3.0 compatible.

Yes, Kevin, It seems like we now can upgrade to w-10 using the windows update instead of the media tool. I just found this out today. After trying four times with the media tool to upgrade a friends computer. I finally went through the windows update, it worked like a charm the first time.
