[JAWS-Users] Step to have Jaws announce spelling errors.

Hi Gang, If you want Jaws to announce that you have a spelling error I will post below how to turn it on. How it works is if you miss spell a word and you either arrow on to the miss spelled word Jaws will announce "spelling error." It does not announce any spelling errors when you just have

Kimber, It looks as though Theresa and George have answered your question, but meanwhile I located the specific page on that website for the Word 2013 textbook. It costs $90, $10 more than I paid a few years ago for her Word 2010 text. Here goes:

Yes, I know-I learned the hard way. I have an old Asus and I bought one for my wife. In my book they are great. Just do FN key+f9 and it toggles the pad off and on. I think that somebody on the list said that something has to be changed in the bios and it requires sight. Wayne -Original

Kimber, Adding a little to what Teresa said see below. There are many variations of this but here is one way. 1. Press ALT and then arrow to the right to Insert and press space bar. 2. Now TAB over until you hear Tables, it will be 3 or 4 TABS. 3. Press Space Bar and it brings you into a

Wayne, I have an HP laptop for work and have not been able to find any way to turn off the touchpad. I actually taped a piece of cardboard over the touchpad so I wouldn't keep touching it accidentally. Not exactly an elegant solution, but it works. This is a huge drawback of HP laptops, imo, and

Kimber, In case no one has any better ideas, I've just looked over CathyAnne Murtha's MS word 2010 textbook and notice that she explains how to create columns using tables. Your guess was a good one. I realize you're using Word 2013, and I wouldn't feel comfortable posting a copy of her text.
