file.
I launch GW, press F11 for control properties as recommended in tutorial.
There are tabs: play, record, volume, visual, device,

I have not used GoldWave v5.23 in a while so I was surprised that when I set a
start and stop marker that the stop marker when pressed didn't stop the sound
of the file that was playing. It marked the start/stop correctly but the file
kept playing. I thought in the past that as soon as you hit

Hi folks,
After pondering all of your great suggestions, I am thinking
Goldwave.
I do have a couple of questions and maybe you can help me
out.
How well does it play with Jaws?
Are there any current tutorials on it?*HTML word doc or PDF

Any tips, tricks, setup foibles or tweaks
You know, if all you need is to convert your wav files to mp3, I wouldn't
suggest installing GoldWave, which is a more complex sound editor and would
take lots of space and ram memory. If you can't get the Winam plugin, how about
any media files converter? I use Total Video Converter for all of

I understand there are a few, should I get? And, also, is this very

I still have not resolved my Goldwave recording issues for switching from
recording from the internal laptop mike to input from another source like a
radio station on the internet. So, I am thinking about going back to maybe
v5.22 or even maybe v5.10 to troubleshoot recording issues. Since I
thank you very much for the help.

So does GoldWave records wave files as it comes from the tape and then I
have to convert in MP3? Or is there a way to make the file be MP3 as it is
grabbing the sound from the tape?
Thanks, and sorry for the ignorance in case it is a obvious answer
Hi Rachel,

accessed and saved quicker in this format.
If you save the
