Just to add to the disk de frag question, solid state drives don't
require this process either.
And IMO, it's a bit over rated for most conventional / spinning HDD's.
Running defrag too often can

i think that only applies to solid state drives;
they use what is called a trim command. but i have also heard on the leo

radio show that s s d drives slow down over time and doing
