Mine I guess it was JAWS 3.7. Then I got to 4.0 up to 7 on a
school computer. Then For rehab I jumped from 8.0 to 10 then

DOS helped me to do lots of batch files for all sorts of things back in
1987/88 when I got my computer. And there was Word Perfect Version 4X and
that too caused me to learn to to use macros to help me do my work faster

until my sister was so kind that she bought me the full version.

Settings Centre is the ability to search for settings that you want. In
your case you could just search for keyboard and it will list keyboard
related settings.

In some scanning programs there is an option to ignore pictures.
Another trick I learned was that sometimes the scanning program embeds the
picture as an object in the document. If this is the case, usually opening
it with wordpad and saving it will fix the issue.
