1. While in your In-box press Alt + V, for the view menu.
2. Arrow down to, Sort By, press enter to open.
3. You want to have 2 things checked in here, Received Descending. Arrow
down to, Received, press enter to check it if it's unchecked. When you

Checking that box in Tools / Options won't give you a sound for new email
unless a sound is assigned to the new mail notification sound event in
Sounds Audio Devices / Sounds tab. I can't give you any help on how to
get to where you need to go to make these changes in Vista but,
Windows Mail is correctly reading if email
grouped messages are collapsed or expanded with Jaws14.
