Unless you have modified and saved a full copy of default.jss (and compiled
default.jsb) script file in your user folder, there's usually no problem
copying user settings between versions. For example, I always copy my
default dictionary and JCFs of programs for which I toggled Sleep
press control alt d to open the jaws menu and go to utilities then
import/export settings.

There seems to be a delay with Jaws when carrying out any process. For instance
if I use alt f4 command Jaws just says 4, when starting to type Jaws will not
say the first couple of keys typed, when using the control and cursor key to

hmmm, I tried fn key plus escape on my dell laptop and all it did was
put my system to sleep. have to do more investigation on this, lol!

I have not noticed the behavior with any other function key. I was trying to
locate the specific model number before responding, but it is a Dell
Inspiron laptop.
