Ultimately every component deployed onto Jetty will be
self-contained, i.e. not expect to find any filesystem
outside it's own deployment. Jetty also will act in

At the moment, we are in a state of flux. You have
fixed Jetty's two main dependencies on external files
Not really, except Jini can use Unicast as well. Multicast is bonus, but
not required. I don't know about JG on this point.
But unicast does not help with clustering, we want multicast.
Well, you still get the leasing support, it's just that you need more
admin to get it going
Is this correct - I thought the _ named tasks were generally not to
be used...
They are not supposed to be used directly from the command line, but from
depend= or call target=.

Some deprecated warnings are to be expected. Lets get the warnings down to
compatiblity apis and perhaps we could turn it off (let the nightly build
leave it on so we can deprecated use though).
