Folks it is only 22 days (3 weeks) till the Gathering. I know a lot of us have
advocated keeping the Gathering at MT Vernon as a permanent site and I do not
recall anyone else making a post that they are going to pitch a new location.

bunch of condos. The closest non-controlled field is Corona where

figures lately? There are 22 KR's registered to fly in to the Gathering. That
would be a new record!!! However, one of those is listed as being flown in from
Russia. That one will definitely get the long distance

I've got an 800 metre grass strip on my place, and enough beef on the hoof
to ensure there's a prime rib for everyone, even Larry. And it's only 14DME
from Melbourne Intl for those who don't want to bring thier own KR!

I just did an update of the KR Gathering Pre-Registration file and there are
now 18 KRs scheduled to attend. This would tie the all time record (if we
include the one on the trailer two years ago). Since Mark J is busy with
Oshkosh I just wanted to remind you that there are only 66
I have N1140V ready to fly. I would love to be the tie breaking at the
gathering. I will keep you posted on the first flight progress.

I don't remember who it was last year,but Chris dad took somebody out to his
house on his motorcycle and loaned them his personal van.You could not ask
for nicer people and I'm sure they will get things worked out for us...
