polish embeded in the cloth would hurt the wood part. The bobbins sound

missed it. The 78s we have no equipment that will play
have adopted some of these, using them and therefore making them
a part of the English language.
Just as with different names for identical lace stitches, it all depends on

I got fed up with the brass wire for spangling: it breaks easily and
distorts the spangles.
I now use either 0.45mm or 0.4mm stainless steel wire, depending on the hole
size in the beads. It is so much stronger and also more rigid so does not
distort the spangles.

extruded foam, for our lace pillows
now hold you responsible for the fact that I find

Like you I keep some of the bookmarks, put them in a plstic bookmark cover,
and use them in my lace books.
Others I give away as presents.

What do you do with the bookmarks you make? Do you give them away, do you
save them. How do you store them
To be quite honest, I have not heard much about OIDFA on Arachne,
and I certainly do not know anyone in this area of UK who has gone there.
I had vague plans a while back, but just too expensive, so spending some
money on decent lace books instead.
