Hi Jean I am sorry to say but Inc. is the abbreviation for Incorporated Body - I work here in Australia for WA Telecentre Kununurra Inc. and have worked for other such bodies in the past so it can not be a wholly American usage. To tag Inc. on the end of a name it needs to be registered with a
