Yea, I managed ok with RC1 but when I upgraded to RC3 I could never get it to work again. I might have another go sometime this week. Or I might just try to DNAT the request on to my NT4 machine. Although saying that, that's somthing else I had trouble with when I moved to RC3 - DNATing port 80

Do I need a null modem cable, or just a regular serial cable? I have a 9pin female-female serial cable, connecting /devttyS0 on the router to /devttyS0 on the laptop. That should be just file I'm fairly sure you need a null-modem cable to switch the RX/TX lines. Antony Briggs

When i try to start ipsec (/etc/init.d/ipsec start) i have the error: Unable to determine address of 'eth0', then ipsec0 interface dont go up. I tried with: interfaces=%defaultroute and interfaces=ipsec0=eth0 but no luck.. i have mawk.lrp succesfully installed with ipsec.lrp and module

What exactly are you looking for. Are you suggesting specific reasons why LEAF is the better choice over the other lists? If this is the case, I assume you are just looking for a bullet type comparison. I've used only WinNT for an alternative to LEAF, although I was never satisfied with WinNT.

I have setup Bering LEAF LRP for a cable modem and 2 NICS. I specified eth0 as the loc and eth1 as the DMZ. I am able to get acces to the internet on the eth0 subnet but not on the eth1. I am able to ping from the bering box to pc's on both networks and also to the box from both subnets. I did
