Does anyone have a Bering 3.1 initrd.lrp that includes the modules for
the buslogic scsi adapter?
I'm trying to get the new Bering to run under ESX and am stuck since I
can't include the module now.

Just got back to work today after a long weekend and ready to try tackling
this prob again...
First off, was it okay for me to remove the $ from:
INTERN_SERVERS=tcp_$192.168.1.2_smtp_10.10.10.200_smtp or should I put it
back in?
MX records are the DNS entries that tell remote systems how to
it looks good. I can't make the actual switch of the Exchange
server to behind the firewall until everyone goes home for the night so
I'll have to report back on that later.

Currently mail is set to go straight from our ISP's router to 192.168.1.2

added in the hosts.allow files, but didn't realize I also had to add
10.10.10./255.255.255.0 as well.

The modules will depend on what chipset your ethernet cards are. I
have been using intel pro100's (a very nice card) and the module is
'eepro100.o'. A good way to determine which module to use is put in a
recent (7.2,7.3) redhat cd or boot disk and see which modules it loads.

I'm attempting to get 2 vlan interfaces to configure on boot with
the latest bering. I have read the documentation on the debian style
interface file. I thought the 'pre-up' option would do what I wanted
(run '/sbin/vconfig add eth1 2' command before bring up the interface.
Gosh. I hope they're alright. I use a couple of them in a production
