However, when I tried to mount -t ext2 /dev/hda1

I also tried hdsupp.lrp. fdisk

Eric,
Which kernel module ? I am using initrd_ide.lrp.
Does initrd_ide.lrp include all the necessary modules

Not for ext2.
just do lsmod and you'll see there is no ext2 module loaded.
If it's enough to load /dev/hda1 after boot,
/hda1

Hi,
I've downloaded Bering-uClibc 2.3 for use in a lab and gotten the basics
configured (took me a while to remember everything, but this is still
just as cool as ever :).
Anyway, there seems to be no dhcrelay package for this distribution, and
I need one. I've found a dhcrelay for glibc
Hello Jack,
Look at the packages page for Bering-uClibc, there is a dhcp-relay package ;)

Hello,
The current documentation details installiung Bering on Diskonchip. Can
this apply also to Bering-uclibc?
The second question, does the current version's (Bering uclibc 2.3)
modules.lrp support 3com's 3c905 PCI adapters?
Thanks.

Yes, but there may be a few small differences. For example, the fdisk
package is called hdsupp now and you may have to check the module
dependency in the kernel modules

On your windows box, try the following at a prompt:
Or, if you really want your windows box to get a consistent IP, just
add a
stanza for it in the dhcpd config file:
~host
Does anyone have a failsafe system of updating existing packages on
their Bering boxes with new lrp files without doing a wholesale system
update?
Thanks.
