I think I'm right in saying that if we don't go up this season we will have broken the record for the club's longest spell outside the top division.   We've already equalled the nine years between relegation in 1946/7 and promotion in 1955/6, so one more season will do it.   Tim W.

Colin might be staying for the time being as Adkins isn't available for a new job yet, as he's still sorting out his compensation with Southampton. Perhaps GFH have spoken to Adkins because they don't want to pay Colin off and Adkins will be looking for another job in the summer.   Tim W/

McCormack seems to be well out of form at the moment. Even before today's exploits he was blamed by Colin for a bad miss at Midlesboro (which I haven't seen) and at Blackburn he was guilty of a shocking finish at the start of the second half, which wasted our best chance of that game.   Tim W.

It could happen if one of the top batsmen gets to 94 but then has to retire hurt. Then another of the top batsmen stays in while wickets tumble at the other end. He also gets to 94 and then the ninth wicket falls, so the injured batsman comes in to resume his innings.   Tim W.
