I couldn't be chinned converting vinyl to mp3. Waaay to much hassle. It's taken
me years but I think I've picked up most things from blogspots, mediafire and
many many torrents.
Russians seem to be very good at putting, say, a whole label's output together
in a torrent. I don't feel that bad
I've been getting lots of stuff electronically, but starting to think it'd be
easier (although time-consuming) to stop looking and start converting. Am
praying my Technics decks will last me till I peg it! A grand for a needle? I
still put a 2p piece on my occasionally!
Seeing how you used
I converted 300-odd albums, using my old Technics deck. Took me about 6
months of doing it while I was working, and it was a bit of a ball-ache.
This was a good few years ago now though - I think I'd be going the download
option now...
