Hello group,
One of the challenges I'm up against on my gazebo project is the length
limit on my 1500EXL. The longest post it can accommodate is up to 80". Up
until joining this group, I just assumed I would adjust my plans so my
posts would be 80". Ideally I'd like to have 96" posts on

Hello group,
My name is Tracy. I live just south of Salt Lake City, Utah. This last
year I finally finished a real shop in my back yard. As I was tooling out
the shop, I came across a Legacy Ornamental Mill. Never seen or heard of
them before. I saw a few being sold in my area and in

Hi Ray,
What do you mean by "what code was used"?
Legacy uses the software Conversational Cam to design the spindles and that
program creates the Gcode for the CNC machines. This (Conversational Cam)
is unique to Legacy. The Gcode is then loaded into Mach 3 (or other
versions) and Mach 3 is what

I second and third the advice about removing the legs. It does make it much

sawhorses when I've picked up a LOM. I pick the LOM up on top of them and
secure it down. Take the legs off carefully and secure everything down

I also usually bring short bar clamps to make sure I can secure the LOM to

Hello all,
Sorry this is taking me so long to follow up. Most of the main parts of the
1500 I have have been sold and shipped. Can I just say that shipping is a
total pain :). However, I'm glad to support those that have bought parts as
I know they are hard to come by. It's been cool to
Brett,
Just FYI, I have a few extra of the smaller gears. Do you know which you
need?

Hi Rick,
I'm here just been very quiet lately. Work is very busy.
I've had several LOMs over the last few years. I currently have a LOM 1200
with the Performance CNC upgrade. Happy to help where I can.
