Not really.  But you can have different colors on ancestors. I.e., you paternal grandfather's ancestors are *coded* one color, paternal grandmother's ancestors are coded another color, maternal grandfather's ancestors another color, and maternal grandmother's ancestors are yet another color. This

There are some really good reasons why you should leave data fields blank when you don't have any information to enter.. 1. Search icon has a Missing Information search tab. If you have a question mark in the field, Legacy doesn't understand it and it thinks that you do have information. 2. Book

I am sorry I didn't explain this very well. I don't put ? in data fields. I just use unknown sex (?) with DATA as the surname to indicate that this is not data about a person that is part of my family tree but it is an entry in Legacy which I use like a filing system where I store the information
