I have the same type of phone and use Google’s Calendar. I also update and add
to it from the computer because it’s easier than from the phone.
I know sometimes when I add an event to my

Even worse for those on dial-up who don't leave messages on
the server -- lately,
Sherry, this feature 'still' doesn't work properly in that you cannot leave it
'on'. With Include married names selected, then add a new wife, the name
will NOT appear in the index - in fact, looking for it may cause a 'Runtime
Error'. This feature has to be toggled 'On' then 'Off' each use -
DIALUP??
That is now LESS than 2 % of US households???
I get so frustrated at the time wasted by programmers on backwards

Bob,
Thats because if you expect something to show in the index, the index has
to be REBUILT whenever an item has been added.
I'm not sure of what other triggers may rebuild the index other than
toggling Off then on again.

That's a nationalistic point of view. Not all Legacy users are in the US of A.

Jay,
This may be a news flash for you, but Legacy has many non American
users/subscribers, and many of those are STILL on dial up. You call it
backwards, the programmers call it trying to cater to the needs of an
international user base.

I am well aware and pleased at Legacy's large non-US users.
But I would be surprised if they really are that far behind the US in
dialup
As I said I get frustrated at the time WASTED by programmers on catering to

It's a personal opinion that I will make no further comment
Jay,
Are you aware that when you display such ignorance of the situation in the
majority of the world you reinforce, what I think is a mistaken view, that
Americans can't be bothered to discover the facts before acting.

Ron,
The problem with this mailing list’s position is that is totally without any
statistical justification. There are all these supposed dial up users out
there, but rarely does anyone post on this list that they would be among those
adversely impacted. I don’t dispute that there are some,
Thank you, Bill. It turn out there are different calendars on Google.
When I was able to locate the one that had the recurring Webinar events
on it, I could disable it and that worked. But only after I turned my
phone off and back on. Finally! They are gonewoohoo!

Thanks Jay, I'm sure what you say is true, though I'm inclined to think it is a
bug. Adding a name doesn't require anything on my part to view it in the index
as it is 'rebuilt' when I open the index. By the way, the same thing happens
with AKA's except that it doesn't crash Legacy.
There
Bob,
I also think that it may be a question of how many persons are in the file.
when I had less than 50,000 , I never noticed persons missing from my index
listing, but once got over 100,000 i realized that I had to look twice,
because just scrolling to the place where they should be in the

Ron,
I’m not trying to lecture anyone. I just don’t understand why you (and others)
see nothing wrong with viewing HTML webpages with JPG’s as acceptable, and
think it’s an unnecessary risk in viewing the same in a e-mail.

Jay,
I have well over 100,000 in my file and haven't had any issue with the index
listings - not that I am aware of anyway! I upgraded my computer about a year
ago which was a Pentium with 1GB of RAM - that was limiting what I could do
with Legacy and other programs.
