Is anyone else sorely missing in v8 the now extinct pop-up boxes for the
children AND the parents that we had in 7.5 in the family view? I am not
talking about the little pop-ups but the big boxes that had the person's full
info, including the places of their birth, marriage and death.

I agree to bring it back, then you can see all childen at once, and take a
quick peek when you hover if you need to see more. It was also on the parents
too.

Yes, you should be able to use the Combine feature. Click on the location you
don't want to keep, then click on Combine. It will then change to Combine
With, then click on the location you want to keep and merge with the first
location you chose. Then click on Combine/With.

Go to view, then master lists, then location. Click on options to the
right, and then on expand/contract location parts.
