For the surname list: Go to VIEW, then MASTER LISTS, scroll down to SURNAMES. Go to OPTIONS and select PRINT. For location and who was associated with that spot: Go to VIEW, then MASTER LISTS, scroll down to LOCATIONS. Go to OPTIONS, select PRINT and then select PRINT REPORT. There are 2 tabs

Hi From View and Name List, take Options and Print to get to the List Report Options, where can specify the fields to be extracted. At the bottom right there are options for Screen/Printer, CSV or PDF. Take the CSV version and Create. Let it create the file and then you can open it.

Any lists you create from Master Lists or detailed search that you can tag can be sent to a spreadsheet by creating a CSV file when you go to the Search List and click Options - Print in Legacy 9 and in Legacy 8 you'll find a Print button. Creating a PDF or CSV from here are both deluxe

I've done the same thing, but it is tedious. I did it buy listing each location and then manually extracting the place names, then entering them into a spreadsheet. Boring but worthwhile. It lead me some relationships that I had not made before and also to interrelated families that I had not
