I agree with Linda everyone needs to stop gripping. Either use the program or

I don’t think Ken, Dave and Geoff can do anything at this point. They now owe
their livelihood to MyHeritage, you can’t expect them to turn on their
employer. Users are just going to have to decide for themselves their best
course of action. Stay or bail.

I have used Legacy since version 3. I'm one of those "smucks" who doesn't
know anything about programming except that it is not simple to get
everything to work correctly and still have so many variances. I'm also
one of those who spends time learning to use the program by watching and
reading
You totally miss the point! Legacy made its reputation on swift response from
the programmers. Having now been acquired by MyHeritage, it is being milked for
its reputation, which, as is an age-old tactic in such acquisitions, for its
reputations. MyHeritage programmers were ludicrous; the
I am hoping that Legacy management will join this thread and give us a clue
as to what is happening (or NOT happening) and why. Dave? Ken?, Geoff?

started this conversation immediately after I found that once again some
FAG numbers were wiped out, I found it interesting that others felt the
same way. I have reported my suggestions and complaints and been told
that they

Great support reply, Michelle!
Is 20 people in two months with major things they don't like, out of tens of
thousands users, a large pct of unhappy users? I don't think so.
If users feel there is a better product they should get off this forum and
switch products.
Let those who are here
Despite the fact that I believe the programmers have passed I still think
that Legacy is the best software out there.
Even with all its annoying problems it is the better of all those that I
tried.

I completely agree with ALL of the criticism directed at the Legacy owners
and the programmers it directs to whatever is most important to management.
I too have been waiting for more than a year on changes to fix errors - NOT
improvements - in the existing Legacy.
Unfortunately, Legacy is what
Cindy,
I am a little confused. You said you have been using Legacy for several years
but you are having problems getting info on how to generate reports, publish
etc. There have been no changes in how reports are generated (a few more
options have been added to make the reports cooler).

I have been using Legacy for several years and have over 1,000 names in my
database.
However, I also recently upgraded to Legacy 9 and have been having problems
getting
info on how to generate reports, publish, etc.
If Legacy has been sold to someone else whose programmers are not going to be
And which platform?

Well, I haven't done much with Legacy 9 since upgrading. But if you are
having all these problems, is the consensus to move on to another
platform is one does not have a lot invested in Legacy? Maybe that's not
an appropriate question, but if the programmers know a lot of users are
unhappy,
Thank you very much. I found it.
