https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=105499 Bug ID: 105499 Summary: Editing of .ods calc document with many comments causes high CPU load, can crash on saving Product: LibreOffice Version: 5.0 all versions Hardware: All OS: Linux (All) Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Calc Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: patrik.mar...@gmail.com Description: When a document as the attached, with many comments is opened then it can be edited normally for some time. After some mouse-overs on the many comments and some 15 seconds the document becomes sluggish and small edits like changing the column width take up a lot of time and CPU skyrockets. Editing a worksheet with many comments becomes actually impossible. Changing the format of many cells or showing/hiding of columns can take minutes while CPU/fan go crazy. Sometimes LO crashes on saving, but only if the open worksheet is the one with the comments, switching to another allows saving. Steps to Reproduce: 1.open example document 2.mouse-over some comments in the worksheet, wait some seconds 3.try resizing the column width, CPU of one core goes to 100% for half a minute Actual Results: hight CPU load on almost any edit Expected Results: normal CPU load, independent of number of comments in worksheet Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:50.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/50.0 -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open From Menu: (Data -> More Filters -> Standard Filter ...) Actual Results: non-re-sizable modal dialog titled "Standard Filter" is shown Expected Results: The dialog need not be larger then a single monitor, certainly it should not be wider than the Calc window, and there is no reason for it to be non-re-sizable, though I supposed I can see why it's modal. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 105470] Missing Calc focus rectangle on Kubuntu 16.10
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=105470 --- Comment #2 from Agus Hartawan--- I have tested it with LO 5.2.4 from the ppa and 4.2, all of them is missing the focus rectangle. This only happens on my PC and nowhere else in my workplace, after I upgraded everybody to Kubuntu 16.10. Everything was okay on Kubuntu 16.04, and I would prefer not to do a fresh install if I can help it although I suspect it might help... So I've made a LiveUSB Kubuntu 16.10 and yes the focus rectangle is still missing. Does this have anything to do with my specific hardware? [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 94238] FILEOPEN: OOXML - Radial fill not imported correctly
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=94238 --- Comment #4 from Regina Henschel--- Created attachment 130641 --> https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=130641=edit Gradient in MS Office compared to LibreOffice The fix to get a radial gradient is easy: In file /core/oox/source/drawingml/fillproperties.cxx line #371 exchange awt::GradientStyle_ELLIPTICAL with awt::GradientStyle_RADIAL That looks good in case the center is at 50%|50%. But it does not solve the whole problem. MS Office has a different way to go from start to end color. The end of the gradient is flatter, so that the whole area gets a gradient, whereas LibreOffice has a hard end at periphery of the circle and fills the rest with solid color, and the radius of the circle is smaller than in MS Office. Therefore, if the center is in the corner MS Office and LibreOffice look different. This problem cannot be solved with our current radial gradient without breaking existing drawings. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 105493] New: A warning about simultaneous access appears when trying to open LibreOffice.
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=105493 Bug ID: 105493 Summary: A warning about simultaneous access appears when trying to open LibreOffice. Product: LibreOffice Version: 4.3.5.2 release Hardware: Other OS: Mac OS X (All) Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: LibreOffice Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: gbwill...@netins.net Description: This warning pops up when trying to open LibreOffice: Either another instance of LibreOffice is accessing your personal settings or your personal settings are locked. Simultaneous access can lead to inconsistencies in your personal settings. Before continuing, you should make sure user "garywill" closes LibreOffice on host 'jfsn-47-33.dsl.netins.net'. Do you want to continue? Yes No If I click No, LibreOffice closes. I have not clicked yes for fear of setting inconsistencies. Actual Results: Instead of LibreOffice opening, a warning window pops up. Expected Results: Normally LibreOffice would open. Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: I was not aware I had LibreOffice personal settings, or that they could be locked or unlocked. I am using a stand-alone iMac running OS 10.11.6. The LibreOffice version is 4.3.5002. "garywill" is a folder within the User folder on the hard drive. It contains other folders such as Documents and Pictures. I don't see anything there related to personal settings. netins.net is the internet service provider. Could this problem have been created because I had to force-quit LibreOffice the last time I used it? I would appreciate any help in making LibreOffice useable again. Thank you.
